Tuesday's Tips: Disneyland Review

Hello everyone! Sheesh, time sure flies here in the Happiest Place On Earth! I hadn't realized how long it had been since I last blogged! ;) Well, today, this is a guest post by my lovely little sister, Gwen. She recently went to Disneyland, and wrote up a nice review of her time. Enjoy! 

In June, I spent almost a full day at Disneyland in California. My family and I had Disney passes for many years, but about two years ago we decided not to renew them. So, finally going back to Disneyland was amazing.

A few days ago, I finally received my DORMS link-up. In anxious anticipation, I quickly contacted my roommate, jumped online, and put in our living preferences. For anyone who is an up-coming CP, the process is really easy, I promise. Choose one of your roommates to log into the system. That was my job. I clicked on the link, logged in, and completed my profile.

Today's Tip: How To Enjoy Disney Charm Without Monetary Harm #1 

I love Disneyland. There are few places I love more than Disneyland. Unfortunately  I can't afford to go to Disneyland all the time like I used too. Therefore, I have come up with a list of a few ways to get in the Disney spirit without having to enter the parks. Here is the first installment.

1) See the Fireworks 

It is possible to experience the magic of Disneyland Fireworks without a main entrance pass. There are several good locations to catch the beautiful display. My personal favorite is the Rotunda between Disneyland and California Adventure.

Grab a couple of your favorite Disney pals for a video they will never forget!

The sky exploded in color. I was showered by pink diamonds, blue sparkles, and green jewels. The world was a cascade of color. I was wrapped in the shining melodies, When you wish upon a star.... A huge smile of my face, I looked around at my fellow guests, the pink glow from the castle reflected in our faces. I could have been five-years-old again and walking down Main Street U.S.A for the first time. My heart was full of magic.

A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes

I literally cannot believe this moment has come. In just a few short weeks I begin my journey as a Cast Member on the Disney College Program! I have dreamed of this moment since I was a toddler. Disney is truly The Happiest Place on Earth. I can't wait to begin creating magic for guests, putting smiles on children's faces, and fostering joy. What better job exists?

A little about me: I am a born-and-bred Disney fanatic. I dare you to find someone who can sing more Disney songs or answer more Disney trivia questions. My favorite game as a child was "Guess That Disney Character." This blog is going to be a journey through my life as a Cast Member, along with several insider tips about planning the perfect Disney vacation. Come along for the ride! Oh, and have a magical day!
